Year On-going Partnership

Overview

Since 2019, Streetleaf has been partnering with Lennar, one of the nation’s leading homebuilders, to provide sustainable, solar-powered streetlights for their communities. With a focus on creating smart, eco-friendly neighborhoods, Lennar has installed nearly 1,500 Streetleaf lights across 29 projects. This partnership exemplifies how renewable energy solutions can transform community spaces and deliver significant cost savings.

An innovative solution with a long-term partner was needed.

The Challenge

Metro Development Group first encountered issues with installing traditional streetlights in their Epperson neighborhood in 2018, spurring a search for alternatives. The solution came in the form of solar-powered streetlights, which led to the founding of Streetleaf as a stand-alone business to serve the growing demand.

The Solution

Streetleaf partnered with Lennar to install solar-powered streetlights that eliminate the need for trenching and complex electrical infrastructure, resulting in faster and more cost-effective installations. These lights contribute to Lennar’s sustainability efforts, and take the upfront hardware costs off the land developers plate,  while ensuring reliable service for homeowners.
