  1. Who We Are and What This Policy Covers

This Cookie Policy explains how Gig Fiber, LLC (D/B/A Streetleaf), a Delaware limited liability company, and Streetleaf Holdings, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company, and its affiliates and subsidiaries, including Streetleaf Services, LLC; Streetleaf Distribution, LLC; and Streetleaf Infrastructure, LLC, each a Delaware limited liability company (collectively, “Streetleaf,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), use cookies and similar technologies on streetleaf.com and its subdomains, including our online forms and our reservation and checkout flow.

This Policy forms part of, and should be read together with, our Website Privacy Policy, which describes the personal information we collect and how we use, disclose, and retain it, and our Website Terms of Use & Terms of Sale. Where this Policy describes a category of cookies, the disclosures in Sections 6, 7, and 8 of the Privacy Policy apply to the information those cookies collect. 

  1. What Cookies and Similar Technologies Are

Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit, and that the website can read on later visits. We also use related technologies, including pixels, tags, web beacons, and session-replay scripts, that work in a similar way. In this Policy, “cookies” refers to all of them. 

  • First-party cookies are set by streetleaf.com. Third-party cookies are set by another company whose code runs on our site, such as an analytics or advertising provider, and are readable by that company. The tables in Section 5 identify the provider for each cookie. 
  • Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain on your device for the period stated in the tables in Section 5, or until you delete them. 
  1. What Cookies Collect and How We Treat It

Some of the cookies described in this Policy store a unique identifier for your browser or device or are used to associate your activity on our site with a record about you, for example, to recognize a returning visitor, to match a form submission to an existing contact, or to attribute a reservation to a marketing campaign. We treat that information as personal information, consistent with Sections 4.2 and 4.4 of our Privacy Policy, and it is subject to the privacy rights described in Section 13 of that Policy. Cookies described as strictly necessary are used only for the purposes stated in Section 5.1 and are not used to build a profile of you or to deliver advertising. We do not use cookies to collect sensitive personal information. 

We use cookies to keep the site secure and detect automated abuse; to record and honor your cookie choices; to understand how visitors find and use the site so we can improve it; to identify the business organizations that visit us; and to deliver and measure advertising. The specific purpose of each cookie is stated in Section 5. 

  1. Your Choices

4.1 Consent 

When you first visit the site, a consent banner asks you to accept or reject cookies by category. Strictly necessary cookies are set without your consent because the site cannot function securely without them. Every other category, functional, analytics, and advertising, including the session-replay and visitor-identification technologies described in Sections 6 and 7, is set only after you consent to that category. Accepting and rejecting are equally easy, and rejecting is not a condition of using the site or of making a purchase or reservation. 

If you reject a category, we do not set those cookies, and we remember that choice on your later visits until you change it or clear your browser storage. 

4.2 Changing or withdrawing your consent 

You can reopen the consent banner and change or withdraw your choices at any time using the link, available in the footer of every page. Withdrawing consent stops the affected cookies going forward; it does not undo processing already carried out before you withdrew, and it does not delete cookies already stored on your device, which you can remove through your browser as described in Section 8. 

4.3 Global Privacy Control 

We detect and honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. If your browser or a browser extension sends GPC, we treat it as a valid opt-out of the sale and sharing of your personal information and of targeted advertising, and as an opt-out of non-essential tracking, without requiring you to interact with the banner. 

4.4 Do Not Track 

Some browsers also offer a “Do Not Track” setting. There is no common industry standard for how that signal should be interpreted, and we do not respond to Do Not Track signals. We do honor Global Privacy Control as described in Section 4.3. 

4.5 Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information 

Our advertising cookies and our use of the visitor-identification service described in Section 7 are treated as a “sale” and a “share” of personal information under California and other state privacy laws. You can opt out through the “Your Privacy Choices” / “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link, through the consent banner, or by sending a GPC signal. See Section 8 of our Privacy Policy.

The tables below list the cookies set on our site as of the Last Updated date above, grouped by the same categories used in our consent banner. Cookie names and durations set by third parties can change without notice; we re-scan the site periodically and update this Policy. An asterisk (*) indicates a cookie name that includes a variable identifier.

  1. Session Replay

Our analytics tools include a session-replay tool (Hotjar) that records a replay of your interactions with a page, mouse movement, clicks, scrolling, and navigation between pages, so that we can see where visitors have difficulty and improve the site. The tool loads only if you consent to analytics cookies. 

We configure the tool to mask keystrokes, text you enter into form fields, and payment information, so that the content of what you type is not captured in the recording. We do not use session replay to record audio or telephone calls, and we do not use it to monitor individual visitors for any purpose other than improving the site. Recordings are retained by our provider for a limited period and are then deleted. 

  1. Advertising and Visitor Identification

We use advertising cookies and pixels from Google, Meta, and LinkedIn to show you Streetleaf advertising on other websites and platforms based on your visit to our site, and to measure whether that advertising leads to inquiries, reservations, and orders. This is cross-context behavioral advertising. 

We also use a visitor-identification service (ZoomInfo WebSights). That service receives information about your visit, including your IP address and your activity on our site, and matches it against ZoomInfo’s own business database in order to tell us which organization the visit came from and, where available, the business contacts associated with that organization. We use that information for business-to-business sales and marketing. ZoomInfo also uses information it receives for its own business purposes, including maintaining and improving its database. 

Because our advertising partners and ZoomInfo receive personal information for purposes of their own, we treat both our advertising cookies and our use of the visitor-identification service as a “sale” and a “share” of personal information under California and other state privacy laws, even though no money changes hands. Both load only if you consent to advertising cookies, and both are suppressed if you opt out through the “Your Privacy Choices” link, through the consent banner, or by sending a Global Privacy Control signal. We do not sell or share the personal information of individuals we know, or willfully disregard, to be under sixteen (16) years old.

In addition to the choices described in Section 4, most browsers let you block or delete cookies directly. Instructions for the major browsers are here: 

If you use a different browser, please refer to its support documentation. Two things to keep in mind: blocking all cookies may prevent parts of our site from working, including the reservation and checkout flow; and deleting cookies also deletes our record of your consent choices, so the banner will appear again on your next visit. 

  1. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy, including when the cookies on our site change. We will post the updated Policy with a new “Last Updated” date and, where required by law, provide additional notice. If a change expands the categories of cookies we use, we will obtain your consent to the new category before setting those cookies.
